Ride Quality - The Truxxx kit does not change preload and maintains the stock smooth ride. Other kits get their lift from increasing preload on the spring. This means that the ride is harsher and less compliant. This is a big issue for many consumers. Installation of the Truxxx kit requires no disassembly of the strut. Other kits require the disassembly of the strut in order to install their kit. This means that a strut compressor is required (special tools) which not every shop has. Also, if the strut is reassembled slightly crooked (no positive indexing on the strut!) then the assembly will have to be disassembled and straightened. This happens fairly often. Because of the strut disassembly/reassembly the installation time is about DOUBLE that of the Truxxx kit.
